Provider: Karelia Labs, Sweden ("Provider")
Version / date: 1.0 / 2026-10-18
App: Specfold for Atlassian Confluence Cloud ("App")
By installing, subscribing to or using the App the organisation that installs it ("Customer") agrees to this Agreement. If you accept it on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you may bind it.
1. Definitions
- Atlassian Product: the Atlassian Confluence Cloud site on which the App is installed.
- Authorised Users: the users of the Customer's Atlassian Product, up to the number covered by the Customer's subscription tier.
- Marketplace: the Atlassian Marketplace, through which the App is licensed and paid for.
- Subscription: the Customer's license for the App, bought or trialled via the Marketplace.
- Specification: an API description (OpenAPI, Swagger or AsyncAPI document) that a user attaches to a page or pastes into the App's settings.
2. License
2.1 Subject to this Agreement and a valid Subscription (or trial) the Provider grants the Customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the App with its Atlassian Product for the Customer's internal business purposes for the Subscription term.
2.2 The number of Authorised Users follows the user tier of the Subscription. A tier that the Marketplace lists as free is free of charge on the terms of that tier.
2.3 The App is licensed, not sold. The Provider keeps all rights in the App not expressly granted.
3. Restrictions
The Customer shall not (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the App except as law allows; (b) circumvent the license checks; (c) provide the App to third parties as a service; (d) use the App unlawfully or to infringe others' rights; (e) use the App on a site where it is not licensed.
4. Fees, taxes and payment
Fees are set out in the Marketplace listing and are charged and collected by Atlassian under the Marketplace terms. Taxes, refunds, invoices and renewal are governed by the Atlassian Marketplace terms and the Customer's agreement with Atlassian. The Provider may change prices for future periods as the Marketplace allows.
5. Trial and evaluation
A trial license gives full functionality for the trial period shown in the Marketplace. After it ends the App stops showing Specifications on that site until a Subscription is bought.
6. Support and updates
6.1 The Provider provides support through the support page or by email at support@karelialabs.atlassian.net. The Provider aims to answer issues that Atlassian classifies as critical within 24 hours and other issues within 5 business days, during Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Central European Time.
6.2 The Provider may release updates through the Marketplace. Updates may change or remove features; the Provider will not materially reduce the core functionality during a paid term without notice.
7. Customer data and privacy
7.1 The App runs on the Atlassian Forge platform ("Runs on Atlassian"). The Provider does not receive or have access to the Customer's content, and the App stores no data. How the App handles data is described in the Privacy Policy (https://ziroxonline111.github.io/karelia-labs/products/specfold/privacy/), which forms part of this Agreement.
7.2 The Customer is responsible for its content, including the Specifications it shows, for having the right to display them, and for who in its organisation may use the App. The App reads attachments with the permissions of the user who views the page; it cannot read more than that user can.
7.3 The App displays documentation only. It does not send requests to the APIs described in a Specification, and the examples and commands it shows are samples generated from the Specification.
7.4 Settings of the macro (including text that a user pastes) are stored by Confluence in the page. They are deleted with the page according to the Customer's Atlassian Product settings; the App holds no copy.
8. Intellectual property and feedback
The Provider owns the App and its documentation. The Customer owns its content and Specifications. The Customer grants the Provider a free, perpetual license to use feedback and suggestions about the App without obligation.
9. Third-party components
The App uses the Atlassian Forge platform and open source components under their own licenses, which are listed with their license texts in the file THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt that ships with the App. The Atlassian Product and Forge are governed by the Customer's agreements with Atlassian.
10. Warranty disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law the App is provided "as is" and "as available". The Provider gives no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every Specification is displayed completely or exactly as its author intended. Validation messages and the comparison of two versions are aids: the "potentially breaking" marker is a heuristic and not a guarantee. The Customer should check the result against the Specification itself.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1 To the extent permitted by law the Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.
11.2 The Provider's total liability under this Agreement is limited to the fees the Customer paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11.3 Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
12. Term and termination
12.1 This Agreement runs while the App is installed or the Subscription is active.
12.2 Either party may terminate for the other's material breach that is not remedied within 30 days of notice. The Provider may suspend the license if the Subscription is not valid. On termination the Customer must stop using the App and uninstall it.
12.3 Sections 3, 8 and 10 to 14 survive termination.
13. Changes to this Agreement
The Provider may update this Agreement for future use by publishing a new version and informing Customers through the Marketplace or the App. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
This Agreement is governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are decided by the courts of Sweden, with Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as court of first instance.
15. General
The Agreement is the entire agreement about the App and replaces earlier understandings. If a provision is invalid the rest stays in force. The Customer may not assign the Agreement without the Provider's written consent; the Provider may assign it to a successor of the business. Notices are given by email to the addresses in the Marketplace records. Each party complies with applicable export and sanctions laws.
